The 2007 edition of the Midwest Haunters Convention and the Midwest Fantasy Show was an overwhelming success! There were an estimated 1200 people in attendance who enjoyed great educational seminars, fun social events, and, most importantly, spent a lot of money with our 54 vendors. We once again showed that these shows are for “buyers”.
Expectations for 2008 are very high and we anticipate next year’s show to
be the biggest ever! To accommodate the record crowd, there are many
exciting enhancements being planned. First, based on input from many of our
vendors, as well as the attendees, the dates for MHC & MFS 2008 will be
June 13-15. We feel these earlier dates will be more
attractive to those attending and allow you, our vendors, more time to
process and ship your orders. Most of our vendors come prepared for cash and
carry shopping.
Second, the growth of our tradeshow has necessitated another, and hopefully
last, venue change. We are very excited to announce that the 2008 Midwest
Haunters Convention and Midwest Fantasy Show will be held at the
Greater Columbus Convention Center! This facility allows us to
feature a 25,000 square foot tradeshow floor. The tradeshow will be open
Saturday, June 14 and Sunday, June 15 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. General
admission to the trade show will continue to be free.
Bigger does not necessarily mean expensive though. You can secure a 10’ x 10’ booth at the MHC 2008 for as low as $425. Each booth will include pipe and drape, a table, and two chairs. We will also have a limited number of small booths (8’ x 6’) for only $300. These spaces will include a table and chair. The small booths will be limited to one space per vendor.
